This self-contained cottage sits in a private rainforest grove more than a hundred metres from the road, surrounded by national and environmental parks. The French country interior feels worlds away from everyday life, and macadamia trees scattered through the property invite guests to gather nuts most of the year. Two bedrooms sleep four, with a full kitchen for home cooking and an indoor fireplace for cooler mountain evenings.

The location puts Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens and several national parks within walking distance, along with a good selection of restaurants. Rainforest trees screen the cottage from the main house, creating a genuinely secluded retreat where the dominant sounds are birdsong and rustling leaves rather than traffic or neighbours.
