This two-bedroom cottage sits elevated on Tamborine Mountain's slope, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame layered views across valley, mountain ranges and ocean to the Gold Coast skyline beyond. The design keeps things simple and uncluttered, with floating stairs leading up to an open-plan living area beneath high ceilings. Both bathrooms face outward to capture the outlook, and there's an outdoor shower tucked into the scenery.

The main bedroom includes a spa bath positioned to take in the view, while the kitchen opens onto a broad timber deck where you can settle in with something from the mountain's wineries or distilleries. With air conditioning, fireplace, full laundry and all the usual kitchen equipment, it's set up for a proper stay rather than just a quick visit. The deck gets you close to the tree canopy, and after dark the city lights spread out below like a distant mirror of the stars.
