The house sleeps six and has two bathrooms, with mountain and valley views across gardens that edge into rainforest. You'll likely spot kangaroos, possums, king parrots and butterflies around the grounds, and there are horses in the lower paddock beyond the creek.

Inside you'll find a piano, record player, game console, ping pong and pool tables alongside the usual comforts. The cottage shares the property with another dwelling, with a pond between them where frogs call at night. A crib is available if you're travelling with small children. North Tamborine's galleries, cafes and walking tracks are a short drive into the hinterland proper.
