Curtis Falls Track

The Curtis Falls Track winds through cool rainforest in Tamborine Mountain National Park, delivering walkers to one of the region's most photographed waterfalls. This relatively short circuit track descends through towering piccabeen palms and ancient tree ferns, their fronds forming a green canopy overhead. The path is well-maintained with steps and boardwalks that protect the fragile rainforest floor while making the descent manageable for most fitness levels.

At the track's heart, Curtis Falls tumbles over a moss-covered basalt ledge into a clear pool below, creating that classic Queensland hinterland scene of water meeting rainforest. A viewing platform sits at the base, offering the best vantage point for the falls and glimpses of the surrounding valley through breaks in the vegetation. The entire walk typically takes around twenty to thirty minutes at a leisurely pace, though many visitors linger at the falls platform.
